The Flying Typewriter Society is writers for writers.  It is a group of writers of all types joining together to build a community.  Writing can be very solitary, and we all need encouragement and inspiration from time to time.  Ours is a safe space, a social network, where we can learn from each other and find inspiration.

Its mission is to help writers to keep writing: our network of support and connections helps each of us keep writing; our social and writing events help foster peer-to-peer growing experiences and strengthen the writing community; and the Flying Typewriter Society is completely free and without dues, to encourage writers of all levels to join, learn, and contribute.

The Flying Typewriter Society’s webpage is just beginning.  It is intended to be a space to post your questions; post your work or links to your webpage; and post blogs or whatever you would like to put out into the world.   

It is all about community and fostering writers of all types to keep writing.
