Dead Acre by Rhett Bruno and Jamie Castle

I love this story.  Set in the wild West with supernatural characters on the classic good guy, bad guy, in the white and black hats. Except for this time, the good guy was the bad guy and everybody was wearing a black hat. 

I believe this is the only book featuring James Crowley as the main character but I really hope it turns into a series and there is a sequel.
